It is really striking to me that people are getting defensive of Bret, despite him being very clearly really racist in that interview against the Chinese and almost referring to them by the end as biologically evil or indifferent to human emotions. These people who defend Bret act like they are oblivious to his blatant racism, yet in that interview Bret makes disgusting comments on the one-child policy meant for some kind of Chinese evolutionary plan to create an all male army devoid of emotion. So it is very odd that these people would continue to portray Bret as well-meaning and not stirring up hateful anti-China sentiments. Bret also refers to the Chinese as a parasitoid devoid of human compassion in that same interview. The fact that he brings these things up and yet apparently we are supposed to care about Bret's reputation and possibly feelings in response to your write up Cynthia is really offensive and I really feel for you on this. People seem to be oblivious that you are of Chinese descent and they are acting like what Bret said should not be incredibly offensive especially to you. It again reminds me of what Putin said in his interview with Tucker, Americans suffer from "self-conceit". I personally think you handled the whole Bret debacle more than fairly since you didn't even bring up his hateful racist comments in your write-up which would have been an easy target. Anyway, I think that at least the world in general is waking up to what is the true source of the world's suffering and the Anglo-American imperialist machine is coming to an end. And thus this is cause for celebration, nevermind the China haters Cynthia.
My claim for naivety was for the opposite reason, he needlessly risked annoying Putin by making a series of stupid claims- that Russia was sulking because it wasn't invited into Nato, that the US doesn't fear China, etc etc.
I feel that Tucker repeated the lack of NATO invitation claim to try to get through a point that he is sorry because it could have meant avoidance of the 2014 coup and all the following deaths. Though I don't know what Monsanto and the Blackwater mercenaries would have planned to get the rich Ukrainian soil for their GMOs. China was working to import the non-GMO Ukrainian crops for their military. I saw a vid of locals identifying unidentified forces as Blackwater. That would be where people were protesting the coup.
Nice round-up Cynthia! Thanks. Is Tucker being built up to be a Pied Piper? As of this morning Citizen Watch Report says the Putin interview has almost 150,000,000 views. I think that was a gain for society.
Well, if that's true, he at least serves some sort of function. That being said, I would never have chosen Tucker Carlson first, or even last, to interview someone with as much gravitas as Putin. Maybe the average American's I.Q. or ability to listen critically has gone through the floor and he was the appropriate choice.
Putin obviously disagreed with you, because Tucker is the only journalist he accepted an interview with. He’s certainly willing to be a bit more open minded than most of the American media’s sophists
Then I commend him tremendously for his self-control. I found myself wanting to get up, walk into the screen, and slap Tucker Carlson. Grow up, you moron.
Thank you, Cynthia, for calling Bret out on his faux-Panama expertise. BTW, are you also familiar with the role of the notorious law firm Sullivan and Cromwell in creating Panama? Ovidio Diaz Espino wrote a book about it about 20 years ago called "How Wall Street Created a Nation."
And re: the incessant fear-mongering about Chinese in the US, did you see this post by Peter McCullough's co-stacker, John Leake, about the suspicious bio-lab discovered last year in the small California back-water town of Reedley, run by a Chinese fugitive (wanted in Canada for stealing intellectual property)? https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/illegal-bio-lab-discovered-in-ca
Sure looks like a CIA psy-op to me, but is being portrayed as real, including an official report from the US Congressional Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (Is that even a thing? Or just part of the psy-op?). I'd love to get your take on it.
I really appreciate your perspective and breakdown of these recent events Cynthia! It pains me to see Tucker and Brett make such significant blunders in their analysis.
People of the USA suffer from profoundly debilitating preconceived notions, reflected in the dumb questions their press persons ask important world leaders.
One minor correction- Bret has in fact decidedly NOT done excellent work on the COVID front- if you recall he was an advocate of harsh lockdowns, mandatory masking and various other draconian policies.
A lot of this oddly just suddenly being pushed by the "trusted" characters seems a bit coincidental since the border has been open for some time. Smithsonian? Panama? Has the BRICS trajectory writing on the wall sunk in and the desperate despotic NWO are losing their heads? Michel Chossudovsky's recent interview covers background on this. Here we go. The reveal of what camp journalists are in will move quickly now.
outstanding article:). Great stuff. Purchased your book and Ehret's Clash of the Two America's. Best book I have seen so far covering our secret history and Britain's continuous role in trying to ruin American values, American democracy and the nationalist aims of our founding fathers who believe in win-win cooperation, national sovereignty and the power of the nation state working together with other nation states in like minded win-win scenario's.
Brilliant as ever Cynthia. However Bret Weinstein is a controlled opposition shill and his Covid pronouncements disregard or obfuscate the DoD genocidal machinations. I cannot imagine you picking up on Sage Hana's work, but Katherine Watt and Sasha Latypova have forensically catalogued the legal shenanigans over decades that enabled where we are now.
Cynthia, I really respect and appreciate the historical work both you and Matt do. That said, I think this a bit unfair to Brett, who I also appreciate for his integrity and skills as a scientist. He IS a scientist - so he approached this in the manner of a scientist! That included making a very obvious caveat at the beginning that he was going to describe was his experience and his personal conjecture about what was happening. He was cautious and spoke with a scientist’s caution and uncertainty - not the bold assertions of propaganda. He may not have the right interpretation of situation, but I believe he was honest about his motivations, rather than propagandising.
I understand why you think it’s irresponsible, in that it could fuel more of the animosity towards China that fuels the new Cold War and may become a hot war. But I would also ask people to consider Weinstein’s point of view - if he is right and it IS a covert invasion, then people people need to know! Not sounding the alarm would have felt just as risky as the risk of fuelling potential war. At least with the option he chose, he can now get push back that may explain the situation to him and change his mind. Plus even if it’s not true that China is invading (I’m not saying it is, I’m speaking from his POV), certainly there are likely terrorists and other groups that would be taking advantage of this open border, because why wouldn’t you? If I were an enemy of the USA, I would absolutely take advantage of the border porosity, and would be stupid not to!
That includes China - China would be stupid not to take advantage of this situation in some way. I don’t think China wants a hot war, but there are plenty of other ways of making sure you have leverage to protect your interests than sending in terrorists/troops. So I don’t know if Brett has interpreted this situation correctly, but I don’t think it’s that unreasonable to be at least asking questions about it and drawing attention to it.
Brett was certainly correct that the Venezuelans speak openly with people, and that there are many families travelling from their who want a better economic life. I watch the Bald and Bankrupt YouTube channel, and he travelled with such people all the way from Columbia to the Mexican border (including through the Darien Gap). It’s well worth a watch. I thought I recalled the YouTuber staying in a hotel or eating in a restaurant at one point which he said seemed completely set up for Chinese people and that they didn’t really seem interested in speaking to him either, but he didn’t make a big deal of it and I’m struggling to find it now. It may have been one of his other South American videos. Anyway, his channel is worth a watch for anyone interested in some of what is going on down there, but he mostly speaks to the families, not military aged men travelling solo.
Personally, I’m agnostic about China, just as I am about people like Elon Musk. I wish I had your optimism to think that there are good guys in this geopolitical fight... I guess I’m more cynical.
So then, what do you think 100 random Asians are doing in a camp in Panama on the established route to the US Border happen to nonchalantly and innocently doing on the other side of the world in the Panamanian Jungle?
Not random Asians. Chinese, all in one camp. Why? Are they actually workers, working on a belt and road initiative? Maybe? But then the proximity to the migrant camps is strange. I certainly think it’s worth asking questions about! But it doesn’t mean I condone war with China!
Sorry to be commenting here before going into this thoroughly. The Weinstein WHO interivew is 6 months before May, so not new. I think Tucker has released it now knowing many people will be paying attention waiting for the Putin interview and he must think it to be important.
Weinstein says: "I don't think the US has an enemy called China, I think there are elements within the US that are partnered with elements within the Chinese Comunist Party for practical reasons and so the notion that these parties are competing with the other just distracts us from what's actually tking place." Which seems to parallel what Corbett Report wrote some years ago.: "China and the New World Order." Correct me if wrong but I thought Putin had asked to join NATO. Tucker in my feeling was saying to Putin words to the effect that, aren't you sad that all this death could have been avoided if Russia had been allowed in to NATO? But the feeling remains from the Weinstein interview that worse deaths than in Ukraine could arise from WHO's impostions from the upper level world wide partnerships.
I note Asians have the lowest fertility rate in USA but a very high population growth rate. Where are they coming from?
"Despite the distances involved and the difficulties of the journey, more than 24,000 Chinese citizens have been apprehended crossing into the United States from Mexico in the past year. That is more than in the preceding 10 years combined, according to government data."
"Most who have come to the United States in the past year were middle-class adults who have headed to New York after being released from custody."
However it seems not a great proportion of the total 1/2 million who came. Something like 4.8% of he illegal immigrants appear to be Chinese, whereas Chinese would make up less than 1.5% of te US population if I would be correct.
A small insight into Putin from when he spoke at his unveiling of a monument in Moscow to the great Russian musician Rostropovich: “I am proud of the fact that I was acquainted with Rostropovich,” Putin said. “I cannot say that we were friends, but we maintained a rather warm relationship. He was not just a wonderful musician, but also an outstanding humanitarian and simply a wonderful person. He always felt compassion for others. That is why he was so actively involved in charitable projects and fully devoted himself to his students and colleagues.”
No...become a part of its research team and daily/weekly/zoom meet discussions. I have over 20+ years of research looking into true history. I came upon the same controlling structures looking into the BCS & College Football playoff controversies that have morphed into the players attacking the same slave/plantation system through their efforts of Name/Image/Likeness and Unionization that are prominent features coming into fold in today's NCAA and Professional sports environments (LIV Golf is the other example of the labor force challenging this control group, which is the same control group that has been controlling the world at large through its Capitalism/Socialism/Communism/Fascism construct).
I would in the very least love to come on and do a group zoom meet with you and your husband to include Anton Chaitkin and Kris Milligan at Trine Day Publishing as you all have been key in my research. The recent episode Matthew Ehret did on the breaking point of history The Ghosts of United Fruit) really dovetails into my research and your discussion, although I had known much of that information discussed in that podcast as far back as 2008-2011 when I began to stumble upon the true aims of the New South and their incestuous ties to the Swiss-British-Venetian (Lions and Tigers) International Underground networks that is so key to this overall discussion.
At any rate, would love to be a part of your network of researchers as we all learn from each other. In my honest opinion, I think it would be so much better if YOU were able to interview President Putin, next time.
haha, thanks Gerry. :)
Agree; while I would remain wondering what your dishonest opinion would be? kidding.
I agree about kidding - my dishonest opinions would be my bad jokes.
I agree with you; both the Weinstein and Putin interviews demonstrated incredible naivety and nationalist myopia on the part of Bret and Tucker.
Neither Weinstein or Carlson are myopic or naive.
They know what they are doing.
They are both aligned with uber-nationalists and both families are connected to US intelligence services.
They are purposefully crafting the Anti- Russian/Sinophobic-Lite narrative.
Exactly, Allen. They have jobs to do. Bosses to please.
Mostly sinophobic imo. They need Russia for other purposes in their narrative. Don't forget they are Trumpeters.
Thanks, I was entirely unaware of any of that. He's also utterly insufferable.
People say he is naive because he doesn't ask the usual questions that they can deal with. Questions which would turn Putin off.
If you happen to be sincere then go hrough this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2xa7hHMUho
My claim for naivety was for the opposite reason, he needlessly risked annoying Putin by making a series of stupid claims- that Russia was sulking because it wasn't invited into Nato, that the US doesn't fear China, etc etc.

True. And, the threat level could be measured by the comments the media and politicians made.
Agreed. There were many times when I could see/imagine Vlad rolling his eyes after the question(s).😁
Then I commend him tremendously for his self-control. I found myself wanting to get up, walk into the screen, and slap Tucker Carlson. Grow up, you moron.
That would be when he would be listening to the translation.

People of the USA suffer from profoundly debilitating preconceived notions, reflected in the dumb questions their press persons ask important world leaders.
Not hard to see, it's a controlled narrative.
Excellent piece.

My thoughts exactly. Glad to read your response... both to Bret's stupid conspiracy and the Putin interview.

Panama's 'Gap' is desired by enemies of friendship, trade and development. Same as the Bering Strait bridge / tunnel.
Are the claims about Chinese crossing the US boarder true or not?

These days I am tending to listen to marvellous Asian muscians.
Tiffany Poon, from Hong Kong
Kate Liu, from Singapore,
Hee-Young Lim, from Korea, though now professor of cello in China,
Yuja Wang, from China
Clara-Jumi Kang, violinist from Germany Korea
And from earlier days Kyung Wah Chung violinist from Korea
When Yuja was asked why so many top music students are Chinese she said because they do music rather than sport.
Why are we killing the Ukrainians who prduced wonderful musicians in the past, not to menton Horowitz and Oistrakh.
